PROJECT SUMMARY
ABOUT THE PROJECT
The European Union’s proposal for a development model for rural areas identifies several issues at the sports level, including the lack of actions and programs targeting historically neglected populations in sports and culture, the absence of a stable and sustained sports offer, and the underutilization of the natural environment for sports programs.
Our project addresses these issues through three main lines:
- Leveraging the natural environment to promote sports in rural areas.
- Proposing sports activities with low environmental impact that support sports policies while also protecting the environment.
- And using sports in nature as a means of attracting tourism to rural areas.
