Concello de Ares (Galicia, Spain)

Ares is a quaint fishing village in the Ferrolterra region with a population of approximately 6,000. It has a long-standing tradition of sports and has been drawn to the new Erasmus Plus 2021-2027 initiative, which seeks to accommodate new partners and support municipalities with limited opportunities, particularly those in rural areas.

 

In this project, the locality will be represented through the Ares Town Hall, the highest governing institution responsible for the execution of public policies and the main representative body of the people. Through its Sports Department, sports projects focused on outdoor activities such as hiking, Nordic walking, mountain biking, orienteering, and climbing are promoted

INNOdxt (Galicia, Spain)

Innodxt is a Sports Cultural Association that is dedicated to advising clubs on aspects of youth training, working with Youth Associations providing different activities that promote outdoor activity, healthy habits and an active lifestyle.

 

We work with companies to improve the use of young people with new technologies, advising on training, research and improvement of aspects related to robotics, augmented reality, webinars, tutorials, everything that brings the young person to ICT in a way responsible and productive.

 

We carry out research work on issues of concern to young people, through our clubs not only advise on training, but also values and worry about all that affects the young today, we try to make these jobs research have local, regional, national and European impact, so we work with other associations to better train the professionals that surround the young people of our society, teachers, educators, coaches, monitors, relatives, etc.

EAS CYCLADES
(Greece)

EAS SEGAS CYCLADES is a Union of Athletics Clubs that was established in 2000. It serves as the representative of the National Athletics Federation of Greece in the Cyclades sub-region of the South Aegean Sea.

 

With 12 Athletics Clubs spread across 10 Cycladic islands, EAS SEGAS CYCLADES boasts a community of over 1,000 amateur athletes ranging from children to young adults, some of whom have even participated in Olympic Games, World and European Championships, and are members of the Greek National Athletics Team.

 

The organization has also successfully hosted a number of race events, including the International Combined Events PORTARATHLON in Naxos, and is supported by over 150 dedicated volunteers and a network of 35 trainers and PE teachers. With partnerships with municipal, regional governmental bodies, as well as non-governmental and non-for-profit organizations, universities, and state agencies, AS SEGAS CYCLADES is committed to promoting athletics and fostering a healthy, active lifestyle throughout the Cycladic islands.

Crosskovacsi Sport
(Hungary)

Crosskovacsi Sport and Environmental Association is an NGO that is active in Nagykovacsi and its surrounding Pilis region. The organization is committed to promoting a healthy lifestyle, nature sports, and environmental protection. Founded in 2000, it has its roots in organizing one of the biggest national mountain bike races in Hungary called «Crosskovacsi», which dates back to 1993. This event has been held annually and attracts over 400 participants, including both amateurs and professionals of different age ranges from children through adults to seniors.

 

Since 2010, the association has been operating a children’s bike training session that employs professional trainers. This initiative has been very successful and has led to the promotion of outdoor sports, with a special focus on cycling in the area. This has spread widely via children and their parents to the adult population. The association is expanding its activities and areas of influence on local youngsters’ sport habits. Besides the well-functioning bike school, the organization has also created biking routes in nature and is about to enter into making an outdoor park.
